Back to Bridal Shower ideas for the Creative Maid of Honor
If you find yourself limited in funds, popular and budget-friendly places to hold the Bridal Shower include the Maid of Honor's or Mother of the Bride's house or apartment. As a long-distance Maid of Honor, I actually held the Bridal Shower at the Bride's apartment (we just sent the Bride out to Starbucks for an hour while we decorated and set up). These residential locations are great so long as the number of guests is not too large.
If the Mother of the Bride's or Maid of Honor's house will be insufficient, another good option is a local YMCA, VFW, Kiwanis Club, or other local function hall. These types of places tend to be relatively easy on your wallet.
If you happen to be lucky enough to have a large budget, you could hold the Bridal Shower at a restaurant, or even at other more unique locations. How cool would you be if you held the Bridal Shower at a local winery, aquarium, or sports stadium? It all depends of the Maid of Honor's budget and the Bride's interests.
If your budget is on the low side, don't worry, you can still plan a Bridal Shower any Maid of Honor would be proud of. On that note, let's move on to one of the highlights of any good Bridal Shower, the food!
