The biggest thing for event planning that I just can't emphasize enough is that the Maid of Honor can and should enlist the help of any or all of the following people: her fellow Bridesmaids, the Mother of the Bride, the Mother of the Groom, and anyone else the Maid of Honor deems appropriate. You, the Maid of Honor, do NOT need to plan the Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party by yourself. Get help!
